Conditions Moya supports

Moya is built for living with a long-term condition, and it is grown one condition at a time rather than claiming to cover everything. Four are supported today. If yours is not here, the next one is chosen by the people waiting for it.

Quick answer

Which conditions does Moya support?

Four: eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and seborrhoeic dermatitis. Each has its own set of things worth recording rather than one generic form relabelled, which is why they are added one at a time.

Coverage

Not on the list?

Moya adds one condition at a time, and the order is decided by the people waiting. Vote for the condition Moya supports next. It takes a moment and the only thing you will get is a message when it is ready.

Method

How to track any of them

The recording method is much the same whichever condition you have, and it is the part that decides whether your notes end up telling you anything. Start with How long do you need to track before a pattern means anything? · What is worth writing down, and what is a waste of time? · Why skin reactions show up a day or two late, and how to log for it, or read all of the guides.

Questions

Questions people ask

Which conditions does Moya support?

Four today: eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and seborrhoeic dermatitis. Each has its own set of things worth recording, rather than one generic form relabelled.

What if my condition is not listed?

You can vote for it. The next condition Moya adds is chosen from those votes, and voting leaves an email address so you are told when it arrives. Nothing else is sent.

Why so few conditions?

Because supporting a condition properly means knowing what is worth recording for it, and that is work per condition. A list of thirty conditions behind one generic tracker would be quicker to build and worth less to use.

Is Moya only for skin conditions?

That is where it started, and where it is today. The approach is not skin-specific, and it is expected to grow beyond skin over time.

Moya is a wellness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it is not a substitute for seeing a clinician. Choosing a condition in the app is you telling Moya what to record for you, not Moya telling you what you have.
